Registration for Telugu Badi 2017 - 2018

Dear Parents

We hope you all had a great summer and are geared up to send your kids back to school for another fun and challenging year! We are excited to inform you that we are entering into 9th year of Telugu Badi and the registrations are now open for academic year 2017 - 2018. Classes will be conducted every Sunday morning at the following locations starting September 10, 2017:

  • Best in-class education Center, Katy (4950 Katy - Gaston Rd, Katy 77494) : 9.30 a.m.  11.00 a.m.
  • Ashta Lakshmi Temple, Sugar Land (10098 Synott Rd, Sugar Land, TX 77498) : 9.00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
  • Spider Smart Learning Center , Cypress (13611 Skinner Rd, Suite 165, Cypress, TX 77429) 

Classes are offered for the following levels:

  1. praathamika : achchulu / hallulu (ప్రాథమిక : అచ్చులు / హల్లులు)
  2. madhyama 1 : guNintaalu ( మధ్యమ 1 : గుణింతాలు)
  3. madhyama 2 : ottulu ( మధ్యమ 2 : ఒత్తులు)
  4. utteerNa 1 : vaakyaalu (ఉత్తీర్ణ  1 : వాక్యాలు)
  5. utteerNa 2 : stories / grammar (ఉత్తీర్ణ  2 : కథలు, వ్యాకరణం, స్వంతంగా మాట్లాడటం)

Registration Fee

The fee for the year of 2017 - 2018 is $175 per student. We offer a sibling discount of $25. Payments can be made by check (payable to TCA) or cash and should be given in person to the TCA Telugu Badi team on the day of onsite registrations. Please note that the fee is non-refundable. We will not be able to fully or partially refund the fee in case you decide to discontinue the classes. Please discuss with one of the Telugu Badi teachers if you are not sure about enrolling your kid just yet.

Eligibility Criterion

Need to have the enthusiasm to learn Telugu and we will take care of the rest!


Textbook and any required supplemental material will be provided.

We are actively looking for volunteers who can 
  •  help us in the classroom or 
  •  help with our blog maintenance  or 
  •  help plan cultural events for TCA events
