Welcome to the Poem Recitation and Elocution Competitions conducted by Telugubadi Katy. We would like to invite your children to participate in these competitions as part of our Graduation Celebrations and make the event more colorful.


Here are the rules for participation (participant must be in the age group as of 5/15/2019):

  • Poem Recitation. Participant can select any poem - the poem must be rendered with clear pronunciation and an explanation of the meaning. Additional points may be awarded by the judges for reciting the poem using a raga. Age groups for participation:
    • Below 7 years
    • Above 7 years

  • Elocution: Participant must choose a topic from the list provided for the age group. Participant should speak without looking at the paper or visual aids and stick to the time provided. There will be points awarded for presentation, clarity of thought and usage of words to articulate the meaning. Age groups and topics for participation:
    • Below 7 years
      • నీకు నచ్చిన వ్యక్తి
      • నీకు నచ్చిన ఆట

      • స్నేహితులతో గడిపిన సమయం

A participant can participate in both poem recitation and elocution. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes in each category. Judges decision is final.

Homework for February 17th, 2019

Dear parents, Here are the home works assigned by class level for each of the Telugubadi students. All these home works are due on February 17th, 2019.  Please make sure that your children complete this home work before the next class.  Prathamika - 1 1.
